David Patrick Burke

David was born January 28, 1946 in Everett. He worked for Snohomish County Public Works until retiring to Deer Meadows, WA. David won several medals for his distinguished service to his country in Vietnam. David loved football, politics and classic movies.

Survivors include his son Jason Burke, daughter Shana Sweeney, brother Loren Burke, sister Mary Meyer, and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. David was a loving father, grandfather and friend to all.

David was preceded in death by his father Gerald Burke, his mother Mary Burke, his sister Bernadine Wenger, his brother Jerry Burke, wife Constance, their son Michael; and sister-in-law, Linda Burke.

Visitation will be from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at Bauer Funeral Chapel in Snohomish, on Thursday, January 3rd. Funeral services for David will be a St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Snohomish on Friday, January 4 at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to gather in the basement at St. Michael's after services. David will be laid to rest at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA. Memorial contributions are welcome to the American Heart Association, Intrepid Fallen Heroes Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
