Jim Philpott, 65, of Lake Stevens, WA passed away early May 8, 2012. He is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Nancy; his daughter, Julie and Todd Danner; son, Greg and Stacy Philpott; and grandchildren, Taylor, Haylee, Blake and Ethan.
Jim worked for the Deptartment of Transportation for 30 years and spent his retirement working for FEMA and going on drives with Nancy in their little red sports car. Driving with Nancy and friends with the top down on a windy back road with the sun on his head and the wind in his hair and a camera in the side pocket was one of his favorite things to do. He also loved his family with all his heart. To know Jim was to know love. We have been blessed to be able to call him husband, dad and friend. He will forever live in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15 at Central Christian Church 126 Cedar Street, Snohomish, WA.
