Lydia Teresa Garza passed on from this world on April 18, 2015 after a long and hard fought battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband John, her son William, and her daughters Julie, Annette, and Susan. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces/nephews whom she loved with all of her heart. She was preceded in death by her son Ted, her mother Lydia, and her father Arthur.
This family was her proudest achievement, and her greatest gift to us all. In her life she showed us the bounty that hard work, sacrifice, and unconditional love can bring into our lives. In her death, she showed us the will and the strength she always drew upon to keep this family safe. We are eternally grateful for her sacrifices. To our Mother, our Tia, and our Grandmother, we know you are in a better place. Rest in peace.
