Michael was the 12th of 13 children born to Charles Ross Higgins and Matilda (maiden name Popnovakov) Higgins. Michael served proudly in the US Marines. He is survived by his wife of 59½ years, Carolynn Higgins of Everett; his son, Shawn G. Higgins (Stacey) of Edmonds, their two daughters, (Mike’s granddaughters) Katie-Beth Higgins of Lancaster, CA and Maggie Rose Higgins of Edmonds; granddaughter, Jessica Webb of Marysville; and his brother, Albert M Higgins, at Bethany Home in Everett. He is preceded in death by his son, Michael Patrick Higgins. No services are to be held.
