Paul Oliver Lawrence Jr.

Paul Oliver Lawrence Jr., of Snohomish, went to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on February 16, 2011 due to a massive heart attack while playing his beloved basketball. Paul was born April 22, 1966 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Paul Oliver Lawrence Sr. and Barbara (Knockum) Lawrence.

Raised in Hawaii; Paul first came to the Northwest to play college basketball as a shooting guard for the Seattle University Redhawks and continued to be a presence on local courts and playgrounds. He graduated from the university in 1989 with a degree in Public Administration.

Based in Everett, Lawrence joined Maximum Sports Management in 2001 and was the main contact for many of Maximum’s NFL clients. He was well known in the business for his integrity and ability to create excellent relationships with players and management alike.

Before coming to Maximum Sports Management, he worked in sportswear design and manufacturing and sports marketing.

Paul is survived by his dear family; wife Holli (Grover), daughters Ashlee and Dominique, son Trey, mother Barbara, brother Tyrone (Rachel), nephew Tyrone Jr., niece Tiffany, sisters-in-law Heather Grover and nephew Tyler, Heidi Llerenas (Miguel) and neices Sarah and Daisy, Hayley McClellan (Jeff) and nieces Janelle Farnsworth and Lindsey, nephews Cody Farnsworth and Luke, father-in-law and mother-in-law Milt and Susie Grover. His father, Paul Oliver Lawrence Sr. preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 24 at 1:00 PM at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, 329 Avenue A, Snohomish. Viewing will be Wednesday, February 23 from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Bauer Funeral Chapel, 701 First Street, Snohomish.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to the Paul O. Lawrence Children’s Memorial Fund. Donations may be made at any Chase Bank branch.
