Born in Beaverton, Oregon on December 19th, 1929, he grew up and lived in Snohomish, graduating from Snohomish High school in 1949.
Dick is survived by his wife of 63 years, June, his sons, Richard and Scott, daughter Kris and granddaughters Lauren and Devon.
Dick was the youngest of 8 siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin and Ida Carroll, along with his 4 brothers, Ralph, Al, Laudis, and Walt,
and sisters, Wilma, Jewell Handy and Bonnie Neisinger.
Dick worked over 25 years at the Cudahy Bar S packing house in Seattle, and later worked for the Snohomish School District. Dick loved sports, was a huge
Mariner's, and Husky football fan, rarely missing a game whether it be live, on t.v. or the radio. Dick also enjoyed going to the Snohomish High school baseball, football and basketball games.
Dick loved his garden, taking great pride in his tomato plants, which produced the best tomatoes for his perfectly crafted B.L.T's. Dick not only was an amazing Dad and Grandpa
