To The Auckland Family,
We send our deepest sympathy and love!  Don and I had planned on attending Bob's service and ended up in the hospital with our son Torre.  All is good with him, emergency surgery and healing nicely!  To Marie, you are such an inspiration to me.  What you give to your family and friends is purely a gift.  The way you cared for Bob was with so much patience, love and understanding!   The way you loved and cared for my parents also such a blessing!  You give so much to all of us.  You've been there for me in times of despair!  Our families were friends for many years, happy fun memories.  Bob was a wonderful man and he will for sure be missed!  We will visit you soon Marie!  We LOVE you all very much!  God bless!!

Marie  So sorry to learn about Bobs passing.  He was so good to me and made me feel very welcome when I came to visit.  With sincere condolences to all of you.

My brother-in-law Bob will be missed by all who knew him. His bigger than life presence was impossible to ignore. He was a true man of God and spoke freely of his faith to all who would listen. He knew God's word and with true conviction followed, never afraid to speak the truth even if it is not popular in today's society. We will miss you Bob, but knowing you are renewed and walking with Jesus gives us great comfort. Bless you Marie and the family while you mourn his loss.

What a wonderful out pouring of love displayed at Bob's celebration of life,There was standing room only in the Chapel's foyer. The reception magnifacent, We had never met Bob personally, But it was evident he was loved by many, We love you Marie and Family and are praying for comfort in the coming days ahead. Just know you are loved and your family.

I miss you every hour of the day my dear. I have peace you were ready to go to your mansion in the sky and be with your Lord. I'm looking forward to seeing you when my time comes.you were the greatest husband, father, grandpa and great grandpa.. Thanks for teaching me so many things about life.

Where do I begin? Bob drove my Dad's race car, the good ole' 99. We spent so many nights and days at the track with the Auckland family as well as Sunday dinners where Dad and Bob would recap the previous night's racing... I can still hear Bob telling my Dad, "My guns are killin' me Jimbo, killin' me" 

Bob was larger than life. His expressions both verbal and non verbal were priceless. There will never be another one like him, and from my pinched cheeks, I say "thank you God"! Bob was a loyal friend to my Dad and from the tears Dad cried last week, I know he misses him already. I am so sorry we were unable to come to his service as all of us were out of town for a 40th Wedding Anniversary celebration for Beck and Rob...you all are in thoughts and prayers and I know I speak for my family when I say, thanks for the memories.

Bob Auckland. I met bob at the race tracks sky valley and Skagit . he was very friendly to me and a good race car driver.we were friends all thru the years we well miss you . god bless you Bob and your family tear the tracks up in heaven.

Marie and family, Bob was a one of a kind!  I was one of a few that was on the boxing trip to Alaska, where Bob, had his boxing last hurrah, ha ha! He was a good man with a great sense of humor. He will live forever in our hearts and imatations of he voice and funny sayings. Rest in peace Bob Auckland! Much love and respect!

My deepest condolences to the entire Auckland family. Bob was a good friend of my late husband Jamie Boland & we always enjoyed it when Bob stopped by our home in Machias. He was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor, RIP Bob!

Must have been a Auckland brother trait pinching cheeks on greeting, I remember many a cheek pinching from them all especially Bob(loved it). Bob was large in character and very vocal, as a little girl he used to scare me sometimes, even so I was always proud to share with friends I had a bro that was a bad--- boxer, and a awesome longshoremen and devoted to his family. I shall remember him always as that little girl! Rest in Peace your with the Lord, Love your little sis Chrissie!

The happy memories will always be in my heart.  You & your brother Dave, (my wonderful husband) Marie & I, have some really great memories, especially fishing and camping.  You are now in a most special place with David & Rand, your Mom & Dad & many friends, Jesus land. Amen

Dear Auckland Family,
Our deepest condolences to you all. I have the best memories of your dad since I can remember. Camping, fishing, cutting wood, longshoring. The stories all run together. We still talk about him down on the waterfront. As tough as he was,  he had the warmest, softest side. When he cared for you, you were golden. If not,  you were a "rudabaggie".

I always enjoyed going to auntie Maries and uncle bobs for the holidays. It was always a good time. Uncle Bob would tell the best boxing stories. He was full of love. I will miss him so much. R.I.P. uncle Bob.

I can remember my uncle Bob as young as 4 years old when he would pinch my cheeks and say Howdy Dust! And show me his missing finger and tell me it was still stuck up in his nose! I will never forget the trips up to Uncle Bobs and Aunt Maries house and seeing all my cousins and the family reunions where uncle Bob would tell stories of the old days and have everyone cracking up! He was one of a kind and definitely a character! My Dad looked up to him and i believe he even saw him as a father figure as they were 11 years apart. He was definitely someone you did not want to tangle with!  One time i believe i was around 11 years old and Dad and i went up to see him and Danny at the boxing club and he said hey Dust you want to hop in the ring? I remember thinking? I will not say no to uncle Bob and have him think im scared! I jumped in with a kid about my size and swung as fast and as hard as i could and landed a few wild ones and as i was getting out of the ring i could see uncle Bob smiling so i must have done ok? Although my lip was bleeding lol. I will never forget his distinctive voice and how his presence would fill up the room! He Loved his family and his little dog Shultz! He will be missed here on this earth! But I know that he is rejoicing with the Lord and  his Son and Brothers and his Mom and Dad  in Heaven!

RIP Uncle Bob   (Dust)

Our family has so many fond memories of spending time with Bob, Marie, and the kids.  It's hard to pick any one memory over the other.  I do recall as a kid that you always knew when Bob was in the room or entering it, his presence always made me stop and listen. 
Marie and family our hearts go out to you at this time and we wish you strength and most of all peace.

Uncle Bob as I called him even though we were only cousins he was like a brother to my Dad and an uncle to me. Many visits to the house as a young boy and as mentioned the stories would flow. Bob knew a lot of tales of my Grandfather who I never met. I could sit and listen for hours. In the early years as I recall Bob worked so hard and many things didn't come easy for him. But one easy thing that did come was the Love of Family. To Marie and the family my prayers to you all. I love you all and I for one will never forget my time spent or the stories told while in Bobs presence. I know he's up in God's kingdom talking with my Dad, Dave and Rand about hunting and fishing for sure. It would be one heck of a Auckland reunion going up their for sure. I'll miss you Uncle Bob till we meet again go hike that hill with the boys and spot the big buck for the prize. Happy hunting.

Since I was really young when my father passed away, Bob always made sure to tell me every story he could about him.  I really appreciated the time he took so that I could better know the father I loved and he did too.  What a bigger then life man my brother was.  His humor and his laugh and just his beautiful voice will be something I will never forget.  Until we meet again my sweet brother.  You will missed by so many, but never ever forgotten.

I will always remember the awesome stories Uncle Bob had to share. Always said someone should write a book abou his stories. Always called me kiddo and pinched my cheeks. Could give him the business about things and he would always have something to add. He was a straight shooter about life and would tell you like it was. I am gonna miss him so much!
