

Robert Kenneth Decker, age 77, passed away at the Mountain View Rehabilitation and Care Center in Marysville, WA where he had lived for the last 12 years. Robert passed away in his sleep on August 31, 2014 due to complications from Huntington’s Disease. Robert was born July 22, 1937 in Chateaugay, NY to Leo Decker and Blanche Boyea. Robert joined the Air Force from 1955-1959. After Robert left the military he met Juanita who they had 12 children together. After getting married Robert and Juanita moved to Washington in 1966 where Robert worked for the railroad, as a farmer, as a butcher and then spent 10 years working for Metro Transit then had to apply for disability due to HD in 1986. Robert enjoyed fishing, hunting, sporting events, car races and rodeos.
Robert is survived by his children Pamela, Toby, Mitchell, Marie, Gary, Danette, Debbie, Paula, Daniel and William. He also leaves behind 34 grandchildren that he loved dearly and his sister Carol Medley.
He is predeceased by his daughter Katherine Leona, son James Kelly, brothers; Jim, Harold, Donald, Leo and sister Patricia.

The Decker Family requests that donations in his memory be made to Northwest Chapter of the Huntington's Disease Society of America. A viewing will be held Thursday September 4th from 4:00-7:00pm at Bauer Funeral Chapel 701 1st Street, Snohomish, WA. Then on Friday September 5th will be his funeral service at Bauer Funeral Chapel at 12:00pm with burial service to follow at the Marysville Cemetery.
