1944-2014 A true Washington native, Sherry was born June 16, 1944 in Seattle, Wash. to Henry and Dona White. They soon moved to Snohomish where she grew up. In 1963 Sherry married Larry Morgan. Sherry lived with Larry at their home in Bothell, Wash. for 41 years, where they raised their two children. A dedicated mother, she participated in her children's grade school education by being a class room and field trip volunteer. When her children were a little older Sherry began to build on her natural artistic talent by taking art classes at Edmonds Community College and went on to become a teacher's assistant in the ECC Art Department. She was especially talented with pen and ink drawings, etchings and mezzotints. She loved to garden, grew beautiful flowers, and enjoyed decorating for holidays, especially Christmas. One of her favorite things was beachcombing on the Washington coast. We will miss her caring ways and charming sense of humor. Sherry passed away suddenly on December 16, 2014 at Richmond Beach Rehab where she was cared for the last four years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Dona White. Sherry is survived by her husband, Larry Morgan; children, Shawn Morgan and Stacy Morgan-Wolfe; grandchildren, Luke and Olivia Morgan; sisters, Nancy Moen and Cindy White; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
