Albert Clifford Brown Sr.

Albert was born January 11, 1935 in Superior, WI to the late Stanley J. & Florence E. (Berg) Brown.

Albert married Joyce L. Pinkoski August 21, 1954 at Holy Assumption in Superior, WI, they enjoyed 57 years of marriage together.

Albert started out his career working for Valley Brook Farms, Twin Port’s Dairy, Franklin Creamery, and he retired from Kemp’s in 1991 after 38 years of faithful service.

Albert was an avid outdoorsman and a talented sportsman, enjoying baseball, football in his youth, most recently he enjoyed golfing, shuffleboard. Al was very active at Pioneer Village in North Ft. Meyers, Albert and Joyce would do a pancake breakfast open to everyone at the village. Albert loved to tease everyone and anyone he could, especially his family and grandchildren.

Among those who survive and gratefully shared his life is his beloved wife Joyce of Gordon, WI; four children: Brenda (Dale) Summerfield of Superior, WI, Belinda (Roger) Olson of Superior, WI, Bonny (Glen) Schulties of TX, Albert Jr. (Wanda) Brown of Chaplin, MN: 8 grandchildren: 12 great grandchildren: 1 sister: Beverly (James) Richmond of Danbury, WI, 1 sister-in-law: Carol (Sean) McPartland of Hickory Hills, IL, 1 brother-in-law: John Pinkoski of Superior, WI: many nieces & nephews: special friend: Kayla who went everywhere Albert went.

He is preceded in death by 1 granddaughter: Rita Summerfield April 1992; 1 grandson: Dale Summerfield March 2003: 1 brother: Stanley Joseph Brown Jr. Jan 2009.

Memorial Mass will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 1, 2011 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Solon Springs, WI. Father James Kinney will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the Mass at church on Thursday. Private family burial will be at a later date. Albert will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him.
