My Love it has been almost a year since the Lord called you home. I have missed you so much since that day.  Your Three Charlie's Angels have been there for me, with their caring love and strength has comforted me. Without our Lord in my life I wouldn't have had the strength to go on. He promised that someday we will be together again and I lovingly await  that day. I didn't get a chance to say goodbye,but like always you never left the house without giving me a kiss, even if it was just going to the mailbox. Dad, I can't believe it's been almost 3 months since your passing.  I miss you every second of every day.  You were my hero, you were my protector.  I always knew if someone hurt me you were going to take care of it and there were a few times you wanted to.  I know you are up in heaven watching over us and protecting us.  I love you dad so much!!

Dear Patti and Family,
I'm so glad I got to visit my baby brother some years ago       in Janesville. We went.                                         
fishing together, our favorite   pastime.                                                            
I've been doing a lot of reminiscing lately, having lost two brothers so close together. 
Both Tommy and Charlie were in the Navy together. During the Vietnam war, Tommy's carrier exploded from a rocket that had fallen off a plane and which caused subsequent explosions. The carrier was escorted, back to Subic Bay, Phillipines, by the destroyer that Charlie was on. 
Rest in peace brothers. I have faith that you were met by Mom and Dad, Grandma, and Nellie and all of Heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Patti and girls.

So sorry to hear of Charlie's passing, I
went to grammer school with him, he was a
year older and VERY much wiser; Charlie
knew how to talk to girls and all the
girls loved Charlie - he also was a great
fisherman, I still remember that I was
fishing with him after school one day when Charlie caught the biggest yellow
perch I ever saw... he had the knack
it took to catch fish and he wasn't 
afraid to talk to girls - what a great
kid, good at two things every grade school boy wanted to be good at, us younger kids all admired Charlie.  I can picture fishing with him when we were kids just as if it happened an hour ago.
 Charlie had a great smile and he was both a tough kid and a good kid.  Rest in peace, for over fifty years I never catch a perch without 
thinking of the giant one Charlie caught... quite a guy was Charlie.

I'm so sad to hear about Charlie's passing. I went to grammar school with Charlie at Thomas Hooker School in Bridgeport, Connecticut back in the 1950's and 1960's. We graduated together in 1962. I lived on Pilgrim Road; not far from the school. I just found out about his death tonight, March 12th, when I spoke on the phone with Patty. I too, was in the Navy from 1970 to 1990 and retired in July of 1990; and now live in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Charlie, your classmates all will miss you up in Connecticut, as I'm getting the word out to them via the internet.

Patty, Dawn, Karen and Martha  I'm so sorry to hear about chuck He was a great father, friend and neighbor. I have many wonderful memories of you, Chuck and of course the girls going up north, company picnics, bowling, fishing and fixing my car! Just to name a few. He was like a father to me! I sure will miss him! Thanks for all the memories I will never forget them! My heart aches for all of you!

  Patty and family, I knew Charly for more years than I can think of, he was always a good person. Now he is in no more pain and probably fishing on a pond some where up there. We could never have asked for better neighbors and friends....he was much like my own father.
I would like to say the service today for Chuck, was really nice!!!  The weather was not the best, there is a fishing contest going on and a few other things to compete...however, it was perfect and he would have whined about the fuss made for him, but would have laughed along with us...the gun solute was really nice...the snow gently falling...a sad day for us and a great day for him...now he can truly tease us...farewell to our neighbor and friend...we loved you very, very much and will miss you!!!  All the neighbors that you so graciously helped over the years, are all rallying around Patty and we will make sure she is taken care of...Giigawaabamin Miinawa....see you again, Migiizi Gaabo & Biidasinookwe (Kevin and Anna)
