

Angeline DeStaffano, 92, of Solvay, passed away Saturday at Upstate University Hospital at Community General. She was born in Syracuse to the late Nicholas and Dorothy (Peters) DeStaffano in 1924. She was an assembler at Pass and Seymour for 41 years before retiring. She later worked part-time for Raphael’s Restaurant and Wegmans for many years before retiring at the age of 85. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Cecilia Church, an avid golfer and loved white Cadillacs. Angie was predeceased by her sister, MaryJane Militi, brother, Jack DeStaffan and nephew, John Leabo.
She is survived by 2 sisters; Beverly Leabo and Sally Poppe, both of Solvay, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held 8:45 am Thursday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 am at St. Cecilia Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of committal and burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
