Carol L. Dwyer Dixon

Carol L. Dixon, 86, of Syracuse, passed away Saturday at Upstate University Hospital at Community General. Born in Syracuse, she was a graduate of St. Patrick’s School in 1943. She worked locally in the office for Dr. Ara Madonian and she was a supervisor of Property Search for the Hillsborough County Property Appraisers office after moving to Florida in 1980. She was a Eucharistic Minister at Christ the King Church of Tampa and then moved back to Syracuse in 2011. She enjoyed cross-stiching many of the P. Buckley Moss prints.

She is survived by 4 sons; Charles “Pat” (Judy) Dixon, of Vermont, Barry (Carol) Dixon, Michael (Diane) Dixon and Gary (Diane) Dixon, all of Syracuse, a sister; Dorothy (Rocco) Cappuccilli, of Camillus, a brother; John (Diane) Dwyer, of Tampa, FL, 9 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

There is a calling hour from 12 to 1 pm Tuesday May 15th with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 1 pm at Corpus Christi Church, 3120 Cedarvale Rd., Nedrow. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, has care of arrangements.
