Daniel Danny E. Freitas

Daniel E. Freitas, 70, passed away Friday January 18, 2013 after a brief illness with his family by his side. Danny was born in Nebraska, raised in Rochester, NY and moved to the Syracuse area after his discharge from the USMC in 1964. He worked for King Landscaping followed by Allied Chemical, and later as a welder for O’Brien and Gere. He was predeceased by his brother Joe in 1984.

Danny is survived by his wife, the former Beverly Markow, 2 daughters, Amy (Ed) Solan and Holly (Bob) Adams, of Solvay, his son, Jeffrey (Nicole) Freitas, of Fort Myers, FL, 3 grandchildren, Kristy (Brian) Thomas, Matthew and Mark Solan, of Solvay, 4 aunts, 2 uncles, 2 sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours are Saturday January 26th from 11 am to 1 pm, with a memorial service immediately following at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Hope Hospice, 9470 Health Park Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
