

Duane Allen Matlack, 34, of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, May 3rd, from injuries suffered in a bicycle accident in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born in St. Joseph, MI and was a member of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians. He lived in Syracuse most of his life until he set out to travel and see the world. He loved the outdoors, traveling and biking.
He was predeceased by his grandmother, Dorothy Reynolds, and an aunt, Peggy Reynolds.
He is survived by his mother; Brenda Reynolds, of Syracuse, son; Osias Paige, of NC, half-sister; Christina Brown, of Kalamazoo, MI, half-brother; Michael Wagner, of Grand Rapids, MI, grandfather; Ernest Reynolds, of Hartford, MI, 2 aunts; Lisa Reynolds,and Marjorie Reynolds Shustha both of Grand Rapids, MI, 4 uncles; David Reynolds, of Syracuse, Rodney Reynolds, of Benton Harbor, MI and Mark Reynolds and Mike Shustha of Grand Rapids, MI. a cousin; Angelina Winter, of Nadeau, MI, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 7 pm at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave.
