

Floyd Jerome Brown, 50, of Syracuse, formerly of New York City, passed away Tuesday, April 7th at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Kileen, TX, he lived in NY City many years before relocating to Syracuse. Floyd was a commercial truck driver in NY City for many years and was a member of the Onondaga Hill Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was predeceased by his mother, Alvenia (Scott) Brown.
He is survived by his father; Floyd Jasper Brown, of Syracuse, 3 brothers; Franklin J., Frederick and Ferrel Brown, a sister; Abigail Brown, a niece; Julian Brown and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Family and friends may call Saturday, April 18th from noon to 1 pm followed by a memorial service at 1 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1900 W. Fayette St., Syracuse, NY 13204. Private burial will be in Onondaga Valley Cemetery, Syracuse.
