

Frances “Pancha” (Gonzalez) Miguel, 95, of Land O Lakes, FL, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2014 at home. Born in Havana, Cuba to the late Ignacio and Theodora (Santos) Gonzalez, she lived in Solvay most of her life before moving to Florida, where she has resided over 30 years. She was an electrical switch assembler at Pass and Seymour in Solvay for several years. She was a past communicant of St. Cecilia Church, member and past president of the Geddes Veterans Auxiliary. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Joseph “Pepe” in 2008, a brother and sister-in-law, John and Virginia.
Frances is survived by a daughter, Dolores Miguel, of Tampa, FL, a son, Joseph (Nancy) Miguel, of Flagstaff, AZ, 2 grandsons, Joshua (Nicole) Miguel, of Godfrey, IL and Matthew (Rachel) King, of Flagstaff, AZ, 5 great grandchildren, Elliana, Connor, Madeline, Caroline and Emily, brother, Frank (Theresa) Gonzalez, sisters-in-law, Dora (Mario) Capella, Frances and Norma Miguel, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 8:45 am Friday, August 1, 2014 at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 am at St. Cecilia Church, Solvay, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Entombment will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. Family and friends may call Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 4 to 7 pm at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.
