George "Skip" Farrance III

George H. “Skip” Farrance III, 71, of Bernhards Bay, passed away Monday February 17, 2014 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in Syracuse to the late George H. and Virginia Angelina (Colasanti) Farrance, Jr., and was a US Army Veteran. Skip was a truck driver at Law Construction before retiring in 2008. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 317 and the Moose Lodge 625. He was predeceased by his son, Thomas.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, the former Patricia Pettit, 2 daughters; Jill Farrance and Traci (Henry) Snyder, 3 sons; Chris (Jeanne Walter), Timothy Sr. (Stephanie Cuny) and James (Lori Spears), 10 grandchildren; Timothy (Lynn) Farrance, Jr, Tomas, Michael and Samantha Farrance, Zackary Snyder, Shaye Farrance, Morgan and Mackenzie Michnick, Jacob Farrance and Amanda Dupra, 1 great-granddaughter; Gracie Farrance, 2 sisters; Betty Jane and Linda Farrance, , and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call Thursday February 20, 2014 from 4 to 7 pm at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave. with services to follow at 7 pm.
