Mrs. Jane Baracco DeMarchi

Jane DeMarchi, 90, of Solvay, passed away Sunday at Loretto. Born in DeFeriet, she has lived in Solvay most of her life. She worked for several area businesses including Syroco, Frazer and Jones, Allied Chemical and McMillan Books before retiring. She was a member of the Solvay Senior Citizens, Geddes Veterans Auxiliary, a communicant of St. Cecilia’s Church and member of its Altar and Rosary Society. Mrs. DeMarchi was predeceased by her husband Carlo in January, a sister, Angie Tacy and a brother Arthur Baracco.

She is survived by 3 sons; Joseph (Anne), of Solvay, William (Linda), of Camillus and David (Vicki), of Camillus, 1 brother; Charles (Catherine) Baracco, of Solvay, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 8:45 am Thursday September 23rd in BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 9:30 am in St. Cecilia’s Church, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday September 22nd at the funeral home, 2601 Milton Ave., Solvay.
