Livio Todeschini, 98, of Solvay, passed away peacefully Friday at St. Camillus Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Tully, he moved to and was raised in the Tyrol Region of Italy before immigrating back to Solvay at the age of 16, where he resided most of his life. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II, serving in the China-India-Burma Theater. He was a boiler repairman at Allied Chemical for nearly 40 years before retiring in 1975. He was an avid gardener, fisherman, hunter, woodworker and NY Yankee fan, but was most passionate about his family (and making grappa). Livio was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Hilda (Nicolini) in 2007, 2 Brothers; Fred & Alfredo Todeschini.
He is survived by 2 sons; Alan (Karen) and Lloyd (Monica), both of Fairmount, 2 daughters; Lynn (John) Przydrozny, of Howlett Hill and Janice (Timothy) Sell, of Central Square, 7 grandchildren; Jennifer (John) Kelly, Allison (Shane) Lightenfield, Brian, Erik (Katie) and Lee Todeschini, Matthew and Alyssa Przydrozny, 4 great-grandchildren; Collin and Brandon Kelly, Dylan Lightenfield and Mia Todeschini, a sister-in-law; Ferdinanda Todeschini, of Breguzzo, Italy, 2 brothers-in-law; Harlan (Margaret) and Norman Nicolini, both of Solvay and many nieces and nephews.
