Mrs. Lucy (Cristantielli) Mamarelli

Lucy (Cristantielli) Mamarelli, 86, of Solvay, passed away Tuesday December 18th at Loretto. She was born in Clay to the late Joseph and Jennie Cristantielli, she moved to Solvay following her marriage to Anthony. She worked in the cafeteria at Solvay High School as cashier and later head cook for 20 years before retiring in 1983. She was an active member of the Solvay B. Pennock VFW Post 2893 Auxiliary, Solvay Tigers Auxiliary, Solvay Kouples Klub and she was a longtime communicant of St. Cecilia Church and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society. Lucy was predeceased by her husband Anthony in 2003.

She is survived by 2 daughters; Rose (James) Muscato, of Syracuse and Donna (Michael) Fecco, of Solvay, 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, a sister; Angeline Fecco, of Auburn, a sister-in-law; Carolyn Cristantielli, of Auburn, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:15 am Saturday December 22nd at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and noon in St. Cecilia Church, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse. Calling hour are from 4 to 7 pm Friday December 21st at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave.

Lucy’s family would like to thank the 11th floor staff @ Loretto Cunningham for the wonderful care given to Lucy.
