

Phillip Dannible, Sr., 87, of Fairmount, passed away Monday, April 25th at Upstate University Hospital at Community General. He was born in Deferiet to the late Joseph and Lorretta (Tiberio) Dannible in 1929. He attended Solvay High School after which he served with the US Army in Alaska. He lived in the Solvay and Camillus area most of his life. He was a terrazzo mechanic for 20 years with the Bricklayers Local 28. He was also a retired Deputy with Onondaga County Sheriff’s Department-Custody Division. Phillip was an avid sportsman, who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed taking his grandchildren fishing, and attending their many sporting events. He was predeceased by 3 sisters; Theresa “Rosie” Spenzerio, Josephine Napolitano and Mary Langlois, and 3 brothers; Anthony, Louis and Mario Dannible.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, the former Henrietta Irwin, 2 daughters; Pamela (Paul) Bianchi, of Liverpool and Donna (Bill) Cerio-Ferre, of CA, 2 sons; Joseph, of VA and Phillip, Jr., of Syracuse, 4 grandchildren; Heather and Thomas Bianchi, of Liverpool, Joseph Dannible, Jr., of VA and Ezra Cerio, of CA, 1 great-grandson; Elliot Cerio, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and in-laws.
Funeral services will be held 11:15 am Saturday, April 30, 2016 at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME and 12:00 pm at Holy Family Church, Fairmount, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal and entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Family and friends may call Friday, April 29, 2016 from 4 to 7 pm at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave.
