

Richard John Korzyp, 57, of Baldwinsville, passed away Wednesday, July 1 at home. He was born in Syracuse to Janice (Tarolli) and the late Richard Korzyp. He was a manager in the melt shop at Crucible Specialty Metals since leaving his family business, Bridge Street Tavern. He enjoyed golfing at Seneca Golf Club and fishing with his friends. His favorite time of all was visiting with his favorite person, his grandson, Damien.
He is survived by two daughters: Stephanie (Stephen) Gaffney of Gainesville, VA and Amy Korzyp (fiance, Brian Ranger) of Syracuse, grandson; Damien Gaffney; mother, Janice Korzyp; two sisters: Susan (Walt) Armstrong and Sherry (Rob) Rabozzi; girlfriend, Rose Hartle and her daughter, Lexi. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at St. Cecilia Church, 1001 Woods Rd. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2015 at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave.
