Richard J. Weber, 82, of Solvay, passed away Thursday at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Syracuse, he was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was employed as a loader at the A&P Warehouse for over 30 years before retiring in 1978. He was a man who loved life. He loved to travel, he was an avid sports fan, he especially loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Richard was predeceased by his wife Thelma (Daniszewski) Weber in 1992.
Surviving are a daughter; LuAnne (Archie) Parker, of Fairmount, 2 sons; Richard R. and John P. (Ivy), both of Solvay, a brother; Robert, of PA, 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Private services and burial was in Belle Isle Cemetery. BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, Solvay, has care of arrangements.
