Roger W. Mazzochi

Roger W. Mazzochi, 80, of Brewerton, passed away Monday, September 8th at Crouse Hospital. He was born in Syracuse to the late Angelo and Elvira (Bresadola) Mazzochi and was a US Coast Guard Veteran. He was an electrical engineer at General Electric for 32 years before retiring in 1989. He was a member, past manager and president of the Tyrol Club of Solvay and its Alpine Choraliers. Roger was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing and was a member of Lake Forest Rod and Gun Club.

He is survived by his son, Ruggero (Sheryl) Mazzocchi, of Solvay, daughter, Marie Perkins, of Tully, 5 grandchildren, Danielle and Gina Perkins, Cassidy, Adam and Ein Tanzella, brother, Ron Mazzochi, of FL, aunt, Irene Jones, of WA and many cousins.

Funeral services will be held at 8:45 am Friday, September 12, 2014 at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, and 9:30 am at St. Cecilia’s Church, where a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners. Family and friends may call Thursday, September 11, 2014 from 4 to 7 pm at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Avenue.
