Esther M. Magoni

Born in Plymouth, she was a daughter of the late Silvio and Anita (Balboni) Ottoni.

Before moving to Somerset, Mrs. Magoni managed and operated her sisters’ beauty salon. Mrs. Magoni was a resident of Somerset for over 65 years and she worked as a hostess in their family owned restaurant for several years. She was a member of the Charlton Memorial Auxiliary, a communicant of St. Thomas More Church and a member of the St. Thomas More Retirees.

She is survived by her son Jeffrey P. Magoni and longtime companion Patricia Cross of Fall River, three grandsons Ryan L. Magoni and his companion Kim Belanger, Brandon J. Magoni and his wife Kara and Jeffrey J. Magoni, five great-grandchildren Maisy, Louis Brandon, Kendrin, Kassidy and Kierrin and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Louis P. Magoni, Jr and sister of the late Delma Brini, Helen Ottani, Elsie Bowers, Arlene Fortini and Delmo Ottani.

Her funeral will be held Monday, November 25, 2013 at 9 AM from the WARING-SULLIVAN HOME OF MEMORIAL TRIBUTE AT ROSE E. SULLIVAN, 866 County St. Somerset followed by her funeral mass at 10 in St. Thomas More Church, 386 Luther Ave, Somerset. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 3 to 5 PM.
