Born in Newport, Rhode Island, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Quiete) Deus.
Mrs. Brown worked as a tire inspector at Goodyear Tire Company for 36 years, retiring in 1984.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Guild, loved playing Bingo, traveling and trips to Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos. Most of all, she was a dedicated and loving wife and mother.
Relatives include her son, Richard Brown, Jr. of Dartmouth; her daughter, Rosemary Machado of Acushnet; six grandchildren, Vanessa, Vicky and Nicholas Machado, Alexis, Ruby and Gabriel Rose; 3 nieces, Heidi Davenport, Wendy Pavao, Kathleen Cabral and a nephew, Edmund Cabral. She was the sister of the late Mary Cabral.
Her funeral and burial will be private. Arrangements are in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Dartmouth.
