Charlotte B. Lincoln

Charlotte B. (Parent) Lincoln, 87, of Dartmouth, passed away on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at home with her daughters. She was the wife of the late James W. Lincoln.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Cecile G. (Choquette) Parent, she was raised in New Bedford, travelled with her husband and resided in Dartmouth.
She was a graduate of Holy Family High School, class of 1954 and graduated from Kinyon Campbell Business School.
She proudly served in the United States Air Force.
Mrs. Lincoln worked as a Home Health Aide caring for family members, waitressed at Julia’s Whales Tale, worked at The Woodhouse Shop as well as a secretary in a variety of settings including Brandon Woods Melville Towers and Dartmouth Public Schools.
Charlotte was an avid painter, enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting and needlepoint. She had a green thumb and enjoyed working with plants. She loved animals, especially her dog and best friend Gigi.
She is survived by her daughters, Lori A. Lincoln-Viera and husband Richard P. Viera of Dartmouth and Melissa C. Lincoln of Swansea; her grandchildren, James L. Viera of Portland, Maine and Maggie L. Viera of Dartmouth; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Marcelle Woodhouse and Simonne Cobb.
Private services are in the care of Waring-Sullivan Home at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth.
