Donna Niles

Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Edward J. and Marion (Hutchinson) Waskiewicz, she was a lifelong resident of Dartmouth and a graduate of Dartmouth High School.

Ms. Niles had worked as a waitress at Newport Creamery for over 20 years until her retirement.

Donna enjoyed gardening, traveling, listening to music and spending time with family and friends. She was a longtime member of the VFW Post 9059 Women’s Auxiliary in Dartmouth.

Her family includes a son, Jonathan G. Niles and his fiancé Christine Ferreira; her nephews, Eric Waskiewicz and wife Dayna, Jason Waskiewicz and wife Suzanne, Andrew Waskiewicz and wife Kimberley and Aaron Waskiewicz; and her great-nieces and nephews, Kenzie, Madyn, Joshua, Samuel and Ava Waskiewicz. She was the sister of the late Terence Waskiewicz and former wife of Gary J. Niles.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 8, 2016 from 9 am - 12 pm with a Funeral Service at 12 pm in the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Rd., Dartmouth. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society and Shelter, 31 Ventura Dr., Dartmouth, MA 02747.
