Emily C. Fay, 84, of Dartmouth, passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2010 in the company of family at St. Luke’s Hospital after a brief illness. She was a life-long resident of Dartmouth living on the same farm as her family had for 4 generations. Emily and her husband Walter (Pete) Fay were married 64 years and shared an interest in antiques, the land and a love for animals. She treasured her corner of Dartmouth and fought to keep it pristine and quaint. She was happiest amongst the company of family and close friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Walter T. Fay and her two children, Peter C. Fay and Ninabeth T. Fay-Butler and numerous grand and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her other son, Brad B. Fay. A memorial service will be held for family and friends at a future date. She can be best remembered by support for the Animal Rescue League or DNRT.
