Florence B. Mills

Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Albert and Annie (Baer) Andrew, she lived in Fall River for 45 years and then relocated to Dartmouth for the past 27 years.

Florence was a graduate of Milford High School and worked as a hairdresser for 50 years until her retirement. She was a foster grandparent at the Potter School in North Dartmouth for 20 years.

Mrs. Mills was very active in her younger years. She was an avid Knitter and sewer, enjoyed traveling, cake decorating and bowling (both 10 pin and duck pin). She cherished the time she spent with her grandson most of all.

Survivors include her daughter, Donna Entwistle and her husband Wayne of North Dartmouth; a grandson, Kyle Entwistle of North Dartmouth, several nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late William C. Mills and the sister of the late Clifford Andrew and Helen Sheret.

Her Funeral will be held Saturday, June 15, 2013 at 1pm at Smith Mills Christian Congregational Church, 11 Anderson Way, North Dartmouth. Visitation will be held from 11am-1pm prior to the service at the Smith Mills Christian Congregational Church. Burial is private. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Waring-Sullivan Home of Memorial Tribute at Dartmouth, 230 Russells Mills Road, Dartmouth, MA. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701 or to the American Heart Association, Massachusetts Chapter20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
