Born in Stavanger, Norway, a daughter of the late Johan and Sigrid (Johansen) Jacobsen She graduated high school in Norway and met the love of her life Soren. They came to the United States and made their home in New Bedford, later moving to Dartmouth. Lillian was a devout wife and mother, who loved her family dearly. She was very active, enjoyed traveling the world with Soren, playing Tennis and enjoyed Bowling. Lillian was a staunch supporter of NAMI.
Lillian is survived by her children, Joanne Doherty and her husband Paul of Dartmouth, Elizabeth Carrier and her husband Kenneth of Florida, Hans Kenneth Henriksen of Dartmouth and Troy Henrik Henriksen of France; 6 grandchildren, Alyson, Caroline, John, Victor, Nicole and Danielle; four great-grandchildren, Mason,Lillian, Austin and Rhylee; and her pup Gizmo. She was the sister of many brothers and sisters.
