Robert Mario Roda

Robert M. Roda, 78 of Dartmouth passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022 in his residence with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Linda (Clifford) Roda to whom he shared 55 years of marriage.

Born in New Bedford, a son of the late Mario and Edith (Rogers) Roda, he was a longtime resident of Dartmouth. Robert was a graduate of New Bedford High School and was employed as a Packaging Engineer for Hasbro for 17 years prior to his retirement. He had previously worked for Alden Corrugated for more than 20 years.

Robert loved his family dearly; he enjoyed traveling the country with his wife Linda as well as the many cruises. He was an avid Yankee’s fan, enjoyed walking, gardening and great conversations with his good friends. He and Linda spent 7 years in Florida, where they enjoyed may drives around the state, as well as long walks on Florida’s sandy beaches. He loved to talk politics, and was a huge History and car enthusiast.

In addition to his wife Linda, he is survived by his son Robert Roda of Bristol; his former daughter in-law, Kelley Roda of Bristol; a granddaughter Angela Roda and a brother Stephen Roda and his wife Pat of Royalston; and several nieces and nephews.
