Steven John Cabral

Born in New Bedford, a son of John C. and Angelina (Carvalho) Cabral. He was a long time resident of the city and a class of 1991 Dartmouth High graduate. Steven was employed as a laborer for 30 years at J.F. White and most recently SPS Construction for 3 years. Steven loved his family dearly, being a family man was very important to him. He was an avid Redskins and Sporting fan, enjoyed video games, and listening to heavy metal and classic rock. Steven had a compassionate and generous nature, putting everyone else first and was loved by friends everywhere he went.

In addition to his daughters, and his parents, he is survived by his Fiancé Stella Medeiros of New Bedford; his step-daughters, Chantalle and Savannah Chaves of New Bedford; a granddaughter, Skyla Rose Andrade; his three uncles, Tony Carvalho and his wife Connie of Acushnet, Jimmy Carvalho of Florida, and Johnny Carvalho of Marshfield; an aunt, Carmen Sousa of New Bedford and several cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Steven on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM in St. Julie Billiart Church, 494 Slocum Road, Dartmouth, MA 02747, followed by a burial in South Dartmouth Cemetery.
