

He was born on July 28, 1936 in Washington, D.C. He was the son of William and Pauline Rodgers. An active member of the Boy Scouts of America, he obtained his Eagle Scout. He was a graduate of Chevy Chase High School, Bethesda, MD in 1954. He graduated from Montgomery Junior College, Rockville, Maryland and completed 3 years at UNH before joining the U.S. Forest Service. After that he enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard for 7 years. After working at Ford Motor Company for 34 years he retired to Cape Cod. In his free-time he enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, photography, traveling, and enjoying a cocktail or two on the deck with his friends. He was a devoted Christian, husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife Gillian Rodgers of 58 years. Together they raised 2 daughters, Lori Mallory of Lakeville, MN and Tracey (husband Stuart) Smith of Northville, MI. He was the Grampa to his 5 adoring grandchildren, David Mallory, Connor Smith (wife Sarah), Katelyn Christensen (husband Conner), Jacob Smith, and Emma Smith.

A Celebration of Life Mass will be held on Monday, November 1st, at Our Lady of the Cape, 468 Stony Brook Rd., Brewster, MA 02631. Visitation begins at 10:00 a.m. followed by a mass at 11:00 a.m. A private burial will be at a later date.
