Laraine Ann Nasif

After a long struggle with cancer, Laraine A Nasif,(Messieri) died peacefully at home surrounded by close friends, family and VNA Hospice on May 7, 2012

She was born in Cambridge, MA and grew up in Dedham, MA. She was the youngest daughter of George and Ann Messieri. She graduated Bridgewater State College with a Bachelor degree in teaching.

She is survived by her sister Marilyn Caponetti of Knoxville, TN, her brother William Messieri of Wilmington, MA, her husband, Michael, step son William Nasif, Ann and James Caponetti, Kimberly Olsen and Rebecca Cook.

An avid reader, Laraine enjoyed the beaches in Dennis, vacationing in warmer climates, our boat, her pets and bird watching from her deck.

For many years she was employed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, most recently out of the Hyannis office.

Laraine's family would like to thank the Hospice Aides for their support in these difficult times.

A memorial service will be held at Doane, Beal and Ames at 729 Route 134, S Dennis, MA on Sunday, May 20th from 2 to 5 PM. A funeral mass will be held at Holy Trinity Church 260 Main St (Rt28) West Harwich, Mass on Monday, May 21 at 11 AM.

Internment will be at Blue Hills Cemetery in Braintree at a later date.
