Therese "Terry" K Mannix

She passed away peacefully at home on October 3, 2022 in Brewster, MA.

A funeral Mass to celebrate Terry’s life will occur on Friday, October 21, 2022, in Brewster, MA at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Cape Catholic Church. Terry attended Pelham Memorial High School in Pelham, New York, and graduated from Lasell University, Auburndale, MA.

Terry was devoted to her family and is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Gerard (Gerry) J. Mannix,and five children, Kathleen, Kevin (Debra), Timothy, Robert (Jo Ann), and Michael, six grandchildren, Megan Thompson (Michael), Kaitlyn Fahmer (Jeffrey), William Mannix (Devon), Sean Mannix, Travis Mannix, and Samuel Mannix, and two great grandchildren, Leah Thompson and Eliana Fahmer.

She was a long-time resident of Fairport, NY and Brewster, MA. Other residences include Penn Yan, NY and Scituate, MA.

Terry worked at the U.S. Post Office in Penfield, as a rural mail carrier, and as an E.M.T. for Perinton Volunteer Ambulance Corps. She worked at The Brewster Store for 10 years after moving to Brewster. She volunteered at Brewster Ladies Library.

She enjoyed the Cape Cod lifestyle. She enjoyed frequent visits with family and friends. She was a talented knitter and needleworker. She attended church at Our Lady of the Cape. We will miss her every day.
