Arleen M. Chrapla

(Nee Kratochvil) entered eternal life on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013 at the age of 87 years old.

Born in Racine on May 22, 1926 to Arnold and Frieda Kratochvil (Schwager). She moved to South Milwaukee when she was 5 years old. She met the love of her life, Frank "Binky" Chrapla while skating at the Grant Park Lagoon. She graduated from South Milwaukee Class of 1944. She had to wait until the end of the war and for Frank to come home from the Navy to get married.She had two sons Donald (Bernadine) and Thomas (Anne), 3 grandchildren, Steven (Krysten), Gina, and Roger, and 3 great-grandchildren, Ryan, Jayson, and Dharma. She was a lifetime member of St. Luke's United Church of Christ in South Milwaukee where she sang alt tenor in the choir. Preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Frieda, her brothers, Arnold and Frank, and sisters Mary Jane, Gloria, Lorraine, and Georgian.

Memorial Service will be at St. Luke's United Church of Christ, 2200 18th Ave, South Milwaukee on Friday, November 1 at 1:00 PM. Please meet at church. Private inurnment Forest Hill Memorial Park.
