No body will remember who I am, it’s 2024 and looking up old friends, damn all the good ones are gone, remember him taking me fo dirt bike rides down the tracks in the early 70s. I gotta get off the internet and enjoy life, what another kick in the gut rest in peace Dave

Dave was the last person George said good-bye to before he retired.  George had great admiration for Dave and will miss him. God Speed Dave.

Certainly a brilliant man that has been taken way too early.  I will miss you and am priviliged to have worked with you over all these years.  Whenever I travelled to Milwaukee, it was Dave Lang that I always wanted to catch up with.  We will continue the chapter of the "Attitude Adjustment" happening down under.  Cheers my friend.

I have not know Dave that long. But when I would see him at Bucyrus he always made me smile. He has touch so many life's and will be truly missed deeply. It will be hard to go into the museum with out him there to talk to and learn from.

Please accept my condolences for your loss.  I didn't know Dave very long, but when we did chat, he was always a warm, kind, and very knowledgable person.  It was my privilege to have known him.

My heart-felt condolence to the Lang family on your loss.  I have known Dave for more than 17 years.  He was always a scholar and a gentleman!  He has touched our lives in many ways over the years.  I feel honoured and fortunate to have known Dave.  His enthusiasm and passion for the history of drills, draglines and shovels is legendary and contagious.  He gave me a personal tour of the Bucyrus museum that will always remain a major highlight of my many visits to Milwaukee over the years.  I will miss a dear friend as many will. Our sincere condolences to the Lang Family.  Dave will be fondly remembered as a talented engineer, positive influence, and just a great person.

I have known Dave Lang for over 25 years, first as a customer and latterly as a friend and company historian.  When I wrote the Bucyrus 125-year company history book, Dave helped me straighten out several facts about the machines.  He was always enthusuastic about Bucyrus and gave me a warm welcome each time I visited South Milwaukee.  He will be greatly missed.

I am so sorry to hear of Dave's passing.  I will especially miss his warm smile and kind words when I visit Bucyrus every year.  Dave's character was an inspiration to so many.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I share a long memory of Dave beginning in grade school through high school and the times after that we had to meet up.  At this moment there are a flood of wonderful memories and my sincere condolences to his family.  Wayne Stubinski

Dave was a kind and generous man and it was honor to work with him as part of the Bucyrus engineering team. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

I will remember Mr. Lang as the Scoutmaster of Troop 235.  He always carried just the right amount of wit and candor.  His positive influence during my formative years too easily went unappreciated until I began raising boys of my own.  I will always picture him in a jeep loaded with gear and scouts, towing a trailer of canoes from the St Sylvester parking lot.  God bless the Lang family for sharing him with us.

I loved listening to him tell stories and greratly appreciated his efforts with the family tree.  He will most definitely be missed.  With all our love and sympathies, the J. Hoehn Family.

I had the pleasure of being a Wausau Newman ('63) classmate of Dave,  He was unique in so many ways and had a wonderful wit and sense of humor.  Always a favorite of everyone who knew him.  I also recall that my first bow hunting experience was with Dave, his dad and others that I no longer recall. Condolences to his family, friends and co-workers.

Dave worked directly for me during the 70's and until 1983 when I left Bucyrus. He was an awesome engineer and I always respected his judgement. I will miss him dearly,and the get togethers we had when I visited Milw.

I first worked with Dave in the 1980s. We travelled heither and yon to extol the virtures of the Bucyrus Shovels and Drills. He kept it factual with his engineering expertise...as the Sales Mgr I was along to buy lunch. We were a good team. With passing years I have considered him a special Bucyrus friend. Few will ever leave a legacy to the company like Dave. God rest his soul.

I worked with Dave at Bucyrus many years ago early in my engineering career. Although I had not seen Dave for a very long time I always thought of him whenever I recalled my work at Bucyrus. Dave was a dedicated engineer and a true professional. He will be greatly missed.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Lang Family. I worked in the Engineering Department with Dave years ago at Bucyrus. He will be greatly missed.

The dedication to purpose, drive to excel and passion for engineering which knit all Dave's projects into the fabric of Bucyrus made him truly a master of his craft.  Dave is indeed part of Bucyrus' legacy, and the company is greater for his contributions.  My career was definitely advanced by the knowledge and attention to detail Dave instilled in me.  I feel a sense of loss to myself, and to future engineers who could have benefitted from Dave's coaching.

Dave was a kind and generous man and I was honored to know him and work with him. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death.  They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make.  Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories.  We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.
  David was the kind of person you only had to meet once and he made you feel like you had been friends for a lifetime. He will truely be missed. Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the pleasure of working with Dave while I was contracting at Bucyrus. In the short time that I worked with Dave I learned a great deal about his passion and dedication for his work. I thought about him when I left Bucyrus and my thoughts and prayers go out to Dave's family.

Dave will be missed incredibly. He poured his blood, sweat and tears into everything he did. He loved like no one else could love. I was proud to have known him.

I had the opportunity to work and travel with Dave for 15 years and always had the utmost respect for Him as a Professional, Business Associate and Friend.  Dave will be greatly missed. God Bless Dave and His Family.

It was my honor to be a cousin of Dave.  I was pleased to see and visit with him a number of times over the last few years.  He shared copies of his draft and final Bucyrus Drill books with me.  Also photos of his "jars in the yard."  We will greatly miss him.  May God bless his soul and all his family.
