Waffle, Gareth R. of Franklin. Found peace Thurs. Oct. 7, 2010 at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Jean (NEE Petry) and the late Judith (NEE Wiza) Waffle. Loving father of Kathryn (Arnie) Malone, Carolyn (Bob) Rose, Nancy (Dan) Schiebel, Susan (Dave Wheeler) Waffle, Tom (Suzanne) Waffle, Barbara (Jeff) Brischke, Robert (Jennifer) Waffle. Proud grandfather of Jennifer (Matt), Karen (Miguel), Dave (Elizabeth), Matt (Paige), Tim (Sarah), Chelsea, Kurtis, Danielle, Kelli and Marissa and great-grandfather of Ava, Madison, Violet, Drew, Sean, JJ, and Emily. Dear brother of Dona Smith, Scott (Kiyoko) Waffle and Peggy (Jim) Dudley. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service Sun. Oct. 10, at 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be burial at sea at a later date. Family will greet guests Sun. Oct. 10, at the funeral home 2:00 P.M. until the time of service. Garry served in the U.S Navy Reserves reaching the rank of Captain. He served on active duty during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He will be remembered for his abundant love for family and his passion for travel and collecting classic cars.
