My dearest Cherri and Family

We were so surprised to hear of the loss of our dear and loving Lois.We are so sadden , Mike and I absolutely loved your mother. All of our Friday's at South Woods were so fun and enjoining. she was like my mother, I always felt her hugs, kisses and she always listened to me through all of Mike's illnesses. We are so absolutely blessed and lucky to have recently seen her at joe's K Ranch and she was so happy to see us, as we were. Lois was a Special  and Loving person and we will always remember her forever and ever. She will always be in my Heart!!! . Like I said 3 weeks ago. "I Love You Lois"!!!!!!!!

Lois was an extraordinay woman.. There are many who will deeply mourn her passing. I will always remember Lois as a loving and caring friend who always had a smile to help brighten your day.Lois was truly a gem and always a pleasure to be around.

I met Lois in the US Virgin Islands just days before her radiant granddaughter Lisa married my lucky son. As the two single moms at the event, we hit it right off talking & laughing about our kids & how rich life is with them. She was a force of ferocious love & dedication to family with enough heart left open to help the rest of the world with their problems too. She could phrase up advice in such a hilarious manner, often drawing on personal example, that you quickly forgot any perceived problem, and switched instead to "Well, let's just enjoy this moment." And she did! Just  thinking of her brings a smile to my face & lightness to my heart. She was really something special. This is an inconsolable loss  and I am so glad she gave us her wonderful  son  & daughters, who gave us their beautiful grandchildren & even great-grandchildren, all of whom carry a little of her spirit onward. May all of Her family & friends find joy & comfort in the treasures of life, as Lois showed us by her example. I feel so lucky I got to know her.

I'll really miss Lois and Barb, Cribbage partners to the end.  I've known  the 2 sisters since St. Freds grade school.  RIP

Lois my friend we will miss you greatly, you always brightened the room with your smile.

Whenever you were with Lois you felt good.  She had a winning smile and sense of humor. We traveled together to Alaska and Door County and had great times. I was just visiting Milwaukee a year ago and she was vibrant and hustling at work.  I was amazed at her age. She said she has been working for thiry years and it was a piece of cake.  I will miss her dearly.  May her memory be eternal. Rest in peace Lois.

Sitting here while the family sleeps, waiting to hear the creek of the stairs as mom comes to get her paper and yet knowing that it isn't gonna come. No smell of coffee or cigarettes from upstairs, no coughs or newspaper crinkling. No more pounding on the wall as I need to shower while she is drawing her morning bath. This house seems so empty although it is full my mom brought so much life to it I can't believe she is gone.
My mom was part of my every day and even at 46 or is it 47 (ask mom she would know) I don't know what I am going to do without her.
She was my go to person, I went to her with my problems and she would either give me a solution or tell me to put on my big girl pants! She wasn't one for drama she shot from the hip. 
Today is the day I say my final goodbye to her physical body but thank God that I have years and years of great memories to fill the rest of my days with love from her.
Lois Carlson you are one of a kind I love you so much, thank you for everything you have done to make me who I am today. Until we meet again in heaven you will have to live in my heart

Lois I have known you since I was a teenager. I remember the days at Witt's when you and your sisters would come in after going to TOPS, You were all so fun and full of life. My sister then married your son , as I predicted. Every time I saw you , you were laughing  and enjoying life. Know that you will be missed by your family and many friends.

I will miss Lois greatly. We have been friends since high school thru the good times and the bad times. We went on many vacations and day trips together and always had a good time. I always said that it isn't what life throws at you, but how you handle it that is important. Lois was an ideal example of that. She handled everything with grace and tolerance and was one of the happiest people I know. Always a people person and a good listener. I will miss our Sunday morning conversations. My condolences to Cheri, Keith, Michele and the rest of the family. I wish I could be there to say goodbye.

Mom, I'm going to miss you more than you know! I was over by the house the other day and was waiting for you to come walking in from work. It never happened...I love and am going to miss you so much!!

Lois was such a wonderful lady she always had a smile and was a friend to our family for many years we will all miss her she was truly one of a kind! Rest in pease Lois and our condolence to the family!

I feel so bad, I knew Lois since we went to Lincoln school and lived near each other. We graduated from Cudahy High together and I last saw her at Joe's K Ranch. She was such a great person and I know how much she will be missed. My deepest sympathy to her family and everyone who loved her.

I went to Cudahy High School, and St. Mark's Church with Lois.  My deepest sympathy to her family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
