Bernadette Bobenrieth

Bernadette E. Bobenrieth died on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at the Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown. She was 77 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Wilhelmina Trotter Schwoyer. She was a longtime resident of Southampton, PA.

Mrs. Bobenrieth was a retired employee of DA Tech Corp. of Ivyland. She was a Communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Southampton

Bernadette was the beloved wife of Robert J. Bobenrieth for 9 years before his death in 1967. She was the devoted mother of Carol Smith (David) of Eagle, AK, Dennis C. Bobenrieth (Charlene) of Pamplin, VA, Robert J. Bobenrieth of Southampton, Carl E. Bobenrieth (Patricia) of Pamplin, VA, Pauline M. Haley (Joseph) of Glenside, Theresa J. Garwood (Jeff) of Southampton, and the late Timothy Bobenrieth. She was the loving grandmother of Christopher Smith, Elizabeth Smith, Andrew Smith, Nigel Haley, Shane Haley, and Nicole Garwood; great grandmother of Nathaniel and Aiden Smith. She is also survived by her sisters Margaret Laskowski and Loretta Corcoran.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, June 22nd from 9 to 11 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 2nd Street Pike & Knowles Ave, Southampton, PA 18966. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 11 AM. There will be a Repast at Good Shepard Lutheran Church, Southampton, PA during hours of 1-4 after the mass.
