Dorothy Garton Obst

Dottie was born August 17, 1928, in Philadelphia, PA, to parents Horace and Florence Garton. She graduated from Philadelphia High School for Girls in 1947. In 1948, she graduated from Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital as an X-Ray technician. Dottie worked as an X-Ray technician at Hahnemann Hospital and Bell Telephone of Philadelphia.

Dottie enjoyed sewing, golfing and playing cards. She was an avid traveler, enjoying trips all over the world. She was actively involved in her various churches over the years.

Dottie is survived by her daughters, Wendy (Paul) Manganiello and Terry (Jack) Morey; grandchildren Marc (Sarah), Lisa (Matt), Christie (Donnie), Scott and Tracie; great grandchildren Holden, Reid, Julia, Teddy, Nicholas, Bryce, and Gabi, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Dottie was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Lester Obst, her parents, Horace and Florence Garton, her brother Horace "Chic" Garton, and nephew Dean Garton.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Warminster.
