Dorothy May Schmidt

Dorothy May Schmidt died on Monday, June 1, 2015 at Luther Park Assisted Living in Hatboro. She was 97 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the William B. and Ida May Whinney. She was a longtime Feasterville resident.

Mrs. Schmidt was a retired administrative assistant. She had been employed by the American Meter Co. in Philadelphia. Dorothy was a member of the Feasterville Community Church and the Order of the Eastern Star, Signet Chapter #129.

Dorothy was the beloved wife Joseph F. Schmidt for 51 years before his death in 1993. She was the devoted mother of Joseph W. Schmidt and Paul J. Schmidt. She was the loving grandmother of Kristian M. Evring, Bryan W., Johnathan D. and Allison J. Schmidt.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday, June 8th from 10 to 11 AM at the Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, Street Road & 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA. Her service will be at 11 AM. Her interment will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery.
