Elinore M. Clayton

Born and raised in Churchville, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Jenny Clarke.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister.

She enjoyed working at Lavelle Aircraft in Newtown and spending time at their Jersey shore house in Beach Haven West, Manahawkin, NJ.

Her nickname was TOTS, but no one remembers where that came from. When asked, she claimed she did not know.

She will be dearly missed and is now in a better place with her late husband, Stanley.

Elinore was predeceased by her two brothers, the late William (Bill) and the late George (Ben). She is survived by her two sons, Morrie and Ronnie and their spouses, Eleanor and Betsy, her grandchildren, Chris, Ryan (Michelle), Keith (Janet) and Kevin (Kim) and her great-grandchildren, Kenyon, Daniel and Alex.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 or the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave, 7th floor, New York City, NY 10001.
