Frank William Young

Frank W. Young died on Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at his residence. He was 94 years of age. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Frank Ford Young and Margaret M Wallace Young. Frank had been a Feasterville resident for the past 61 years.

Mr. Young had been an employee of the Philadelphia Gas Works for 37 years before his retirement in 1977.

Frank was a member of the Davisville Church and served the church as a Deacon, usher, and greater. He was also the former head of the Prime Timers Senior Citizens Group at the church.

Frank was a member of the Odd Fellows. He was an avid reader, enjoyed history, and was a true Civil War buff. He also enjoyed traveling.

He was the beloved husband of Margaret M. Cottam Young for 73 years. He was the devoted father of Darlyne Saldan (the late Alex) of Jamison. He was the loving grandfather of Melissa Schneider of Warminster and Scott Saldan (Kate) of Jamison; great grandfather of Xander and Skylar Schneider and Shelby and Sean Saldan.

Relatives and friends are invited his Memorial Service 12 noon on Wednesday, April 23rd at the Wm. Rowen Grant Funeral Home, Street Road & 2nd Street Pike, Southampton, PA. Friend may call from 11 AM until the time of service
