

Jashvantlal was born on January 4, 1938 in Anand (Gujarat state, India), to parents, Maganlal Dungarbhai Brahmbhatt and Nanduben Maganlal Brahmbhatt. His native place was Mota Tarapur in Gujarat state, India.
He went to school in India and went on to establish a career as a police officer starting in February 1956 and worked for the Kheda District Police Department in Gujarat state. He worked in that department until May 1986 and retired after a total of 30 years of service.
Jashvantlal got married to Lilaben Brahmbhatt (Daughter of Ramsing Sankalji and Rupaliben Brahmbhatt) on April 22, 1956 at the village in Jaspur (Gujarat state, India). Jashvantlal and Lilaben went on to have three children. They had one son, Anil Brahmbhatt and two daughters, Hemlata and Nayna Brahmbhatt.
He immigrated to the United States of America on February 1, 1987. In the United States of America, he established permanent settlement and helped create a life for his wife and 3 children.
Jashvantlal enjoyed listening to old Indian songs and watching old Indian movies. He was a big fan of Pankaj Udhas and liked to listen to all of his songs. He also enjoyed reading and watching TV. He was very fond of eating various types of food and his favorites were sweets. He also loved eating potatoes, which were his favorite vegetable.
In addition, he was truly a devoted follower of Vadtal Swaminaryan Sampraday and enjoyed going to the temple. He enjoyed meeting new people and making new friends.
Jashvantlal was preceded in death by his mom, Nanduben, when he was only 3 years old. He lost his father, Maganlal, in 1976. In addition, he lost his elder brother, Dhirajlal and his younger brother, Surendrakumar as well. He lost his elder sister in law, Anandiben (wife of Dhirajlal) as well. In June 2015, he lost his youngest daughter, Nayna, in a tragic house fire. As a result of injuries suffered from the house fire, he also lost his wife, Lilaben, in July 2015.
Jashvantlal is survived by his two children, Anil Brahmbhatt (son) and Hemlata Brahmbhatt (daughter). He has 8 grandchildren (Falguni, Niraj, Nidhi, Payal, Jatin, Dimple, Mohit and Nirmit). He also has 4 great-grandchildren (Arya, Ansh, Reyaan and Ayan).
He will be remembered as a loving man who will be dearly missed forever.
A funeral service is scheduled Sunday, July 2, 2023, at Wm.Rowen Grant Funeral Home in Southampton, PA.
