John G Lindsay

John G. Lindsay died on Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Garden Spring Center in Willow Grove, PA. He was 86 years of age. Born in Pittsburgh, PA he was the son of the late David Pitcairn Lindsay and the late Grace Graham Lindsay Hodges. John had lived in Huntingdon Valley, PA for the past 12 years; he was previously a longtime resident of Short Hills, NJ.

Mr. Lindsay was an account executive with PPG Industries for 54 years, until his retirement in 2002. He was a Navy veteran of WW II and had received a BA Degree from the University of Michigan in 1948.

John was a member of the General Church of the New Jerusalem. He enjoyed golf and boating.

John was the beloved husband of Mary Brown Lindsay for 57 years. He was the devoted father of Charles W. (Janna) Lindsay of Bryn Athyn, PA; Laura L. (Boyd) Bergmann of Fords, NJ; William R. (Adrienne) Lindsay of Springfield, NJ; and Robert G. Lindsay of Springfield, NJ. He is also survived by 4 Grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to his Memorial Service at10:30 AM on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at the at the Bryn Athyn Cathedral, 900 Cathedral Road, Bryn Athyn, PA 19009.
