

John “Johnny” S. Roman, 68, passed away on March 18, 2026. A long-time resident of the Glenside area, Johnny was born January 28, 1958, to parents, Stanley J. Roman and Mary A. Roman. Johnny will be remembered as a compassionate, generous, and detailed man whose practical skills left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
Johnny graduated from Abington Highschool in 1976.
Most of his life, Johnny was self-employed, working as a carpenter. His steady hands and careful attention to detail reflected a deep pride in doing things the right way and doing them well.
Outside of work, Johnny enjoyed golfing and classic cars—interests that brought him both relaxation and simple, lasting joy.
Additionally, Johnny was a Mason, a commitment that reflected his respect for tradition, fellowship, and service to others.
Johnny was preceded in death by Mary A. Roman, Stanley J. Roman, Rosemarie Cressman, Stanley Roman lll, and Katherine Roman.
Johnny is survived by Patricia Mohr, Margaret Staskel, David Roman, Sueann Costanzo, Joseph Roman, and Claire Abrishami.
A Graveside Service will be held at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, Pennsylvania 19002, on April 1, 2026, at 11:00 am.
