Ken was born on December 20th 1956 in Philadelphia. He grew up in Southampton, PA and was a graduate of William Tennent High School. Ken honed his skills as a Chef at the family restaurant, the Robin Hood in Southampton, PA. At 19 years of age Ken found himself smitten with the new waitress, Suzy. Suzy was spoken for but took the advice of her mother and met the “nice boy”. Ken and Suzy fell in love and married 2 years later.
Ken is survived by his wife Suzy. Together they have three beautiful girls. Stephanie Stemphoski, her husband Mark and their two sons Chase and Ryan. Michelle Quinn, her husband Jim and their two daughters Ellie and Mila. Danielle McCauley, her husband Jordan and their daughter Lennon and son Everett.
Ken was a gifted man who was always exploring and learning something new. His many passions included golf, art (painting, sculpting, sketching, and creating), karate, axe throwing, astronomy, science, Star Trek, reading, Doctor Who, The Talking Heads, playing pool, and gardening just to name a few. Though he was man of many interests, these never overshadowed his love and devotion for his girls, Suzy, Stephanie, Michelle and Danielle.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, December 16th at 9:30AM located at Lamb Funeral Home 101 Barberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA, followed by a memorial service at 10:00AM. Following the memorial service Family and friends are invited to continue to celebrate Ken at the Arrighy Family Home.
